Custom Auger Systems, Ltd began in August of 2003 as a partnership between Art Drumm (founder and former owner of Marysville Rotary Broom, Marysville OH) and Tom Mash (owner, Mash Mechanical LLC, Knoxville TN).

Art's auger experience began in the eighties when he successfully designed and distributed soft bristled grain augers that didn't damage beans or corn kernels.

Tom, a master plumber by trade, designed an auger for boring horizontally through earth with the use of an ordinary heavy duty drill. With Art's help, Tom designed the first prototype, and they were later awarded a U.S. patent for the auger system.

Custom Augers is family owned and operated. Becky (daughter of Art and wife of Tom) has been handling sales and customer service since the company was started. She can answer most questions about the augers and drill compatibility, so feel free to contact her with any questions or comments.
